What is Documentary+ TV?

Documentary+ (sometimes stylized as DOCUMENTARY+) is a free, ad-supported streaming service focused exclusively on documentary films and nonfiction storytelling. It launched in early 2021 and offers a hand-picked library of feature-length documentaries, docuseries, and short documentaries.

Key Focus:

100% Documentary Content

No scripted dramas, sitcoms, or reality shows — it's purely real stories, real people, and real events.

Premium, Critically Acclaimed Films

Many titles are award-winning (Oscar-nominated, Sundance favorites, etc.) or made by top documentary filmmakers.

Curated, Not Crowded

It's not about quantity — it's about quality curation. They aim to highlight the most impactful, thought-provoking documentaries out there.
